Super Nintendo - Megaman X3 Review |
Megaman X is a new series about Megaman. It is not known whether Megaman from the Megaman series is related to Megaman X from the Megaman X series. It is hinted at at times and some sources say yes while others say no. I personally believe no because Megaman X is a darker series where friends die and allies become bad where as Megaman seems a bit happier. So far only one character, Dr. Light is seen in both series and no mention of Megaman's pal Rush. So X is probably set in an alternate Universe with possibly similar characters in the past. This is not Megaman 12 by the way (at least I do not think so, Capcom may release some Megaman game which bridges Megaman and Megaman X together). Gameplay: 8/10 Like Megaman X, Megaman X2 has excellent handling although once again, the jumping could be a little higher. This time, Megaman X can get an air dash modification which allows you to dash in the air horizontally as well. Graphics: 5/5 Excellent animation once again. Sound and Music: 5/5 Excellent music in Megaman X3. Game Design: 3/5 The game design is much better this time round. The power ups are not impossible to get and the helmut modification will reveal where they are. Longevity or Replayability: 2/5 This game while not exactly long will last you some time as you conquer the levels. For: Good gameplay, cool music, good graphics, easier to get power ups. Against: Some very difficult areas |

I wonder what weapon that is? |
Just when you thought it was safe, Vile returns, but this time he isn't as tough. |
