Knowing how good the game is

All games are rated upon a percentage out of 100 after applying our basic reviewing system to the game. This percentage is shown at the end of the scoring summary. For more information about our reviewing system, go to the "Submit your Rom Reviews" section.

Here are what the percentages mean in our rom reviews:

90+

A classic game that will stand the test of time no matter what.

They represent one of the best of its genre and platform. Games scoring in this category are given the Platinum Award, the highest award possible.

Like an A+ grade.

80-89

An outstanding game that represents one of the best of its genre and platform. Only small nuances hold it back from a 90+.

Games scoring in between 85-89 are given the Gold Award, and

Games scoring in between 80-84 are given the Silver Award.

Like an A grade.

70-79

Simply a very good game that is above average.

A few major flaws hold it back from an 80+.

Games scoring in between 76-79 are given the Bronze Award.

Like a B grade.

60-69

A fairly good game that is reasonably playable. Like a B- grade.

45-59

Average, mediocre, ordinary. Not too bad, but not that good. Tends to be more bad than good. Like a C Grade.

30-44

A well below average game that isn't good at all. Like a D grade.

29-

Bad, just bad. Boring, shamelessly unoriginal, horrible, a pit full of mud

and only under any circumstances, you should play these games, to laugh at how stupid they are! Like E and F grades.
